GOP aims to rebuild
Colorado Gop looks to rebuild

Callie, it seems like my neighbors to the north (MT) are having the same struggle ya'll are having in CO (since most of my TV comes out of MT, I get a lot of MT politics).
This past cycle, out of the candidates that appeared statewide on the MT ballot, only two Republicans were supported, McCain/Palin and their U.S. Representative (unless you count the Lt. Governor who appears on the ticket with the Democrat Governor).
Will be looking forward to seeing who you all end up fielding to take on the Democrat Governor down there.
Our Governor seat should be opening up in 2010 (provided the Democrat doesn't challenge the term limits law). Hopefully, we get that seat reclaimed. |

I think that we should build a coalition that brings minorities back to the Republican Party. We (African Americans) were Republicans a long time ago. The Democrats stole that mantle away from us by giving programs and checks, dangling it all in front of them like they were zombies. Let's get our brothers and sisters back!!! That's how we should rebuild.....as a coalition of all races. Open it up - fundraisers, parties, get together(s), knowledge meetings, exploring our past and relishing our futures. |
